We want to help local organizations serve people with disabilities or those who need extra support at events.

We offer three portable spaces that travel across the county for free, making your event more inclusive and accessible. Organizations can request the spaces that best fit their needs below.

Assistive Technology Vehicle

The Assistive Technology Vehicle (ATV) helps people learn about tools that can help them become more independent in their homes.

Visitors can try out different assistive technology tools inside the vehicle, ranging from simple to advanced.

Please note that the ATV can only provide a limited number of onsite demonstrations.

Mobile Sensory Space

Cuyahoga DD’s Mobile Sensory Vehicle creates a calm space for people who may feel overwhelmed at community events. It features sensory equipment that helps with self-calming and self-regulation.

This vehicle can also give day programs and community locations ideas for creating their own sensory spaces.

The vehicle includes sensory tools for relaxation or stimulation, including a calming Bubble Tube, interactive touch panels, twinkling lights, and more.

Portable Universal Changing Station

Community events are most effective when everyone can participate.

When events and public restrooms don’t have universal changing tables, they leave out older children and adults who need help with personal care, like changing diapers, using the toilet, or managing colostomy bags and catheters.

Adding Cuyahoga DD’s portable universal changing station to your event provides clean, safe restroom access for everyone.

To ensure event guests have access to clean and dignified spaces for changing their loved ones, our portable changing station includes:

10’x10’ four-walled privacy tent
Wipes and gloves
Changing pads
Covered trash can
Disinfectant wipes
Tent Transport & Set Up/Tear Down
