Congratulations to Bob as he enters retirement at the end of the month. Bob is an Area Coordinator of Workforce Development, a role he started at Cuyahoga DD in 2022.

Bob has worked for 42 years in the developmental disability field. He spent 33 years of his career at the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities in residential services, staff development, and community employment roles. After leaving Lake County, Bob was a managing director of Community Employment for All, a local employment services agency, for five years.

Some of his most memorable times at Cuyahoga DD were with his team, sharing experiences with the people we serve. Especially at Empower Pop-Ups organized by the Community Development team, and at sensory-friendly performances at Playhouse Square and the Cleveland Orchestra. "Such an amazing time to see the community benefit from all Cuyahoga DD had to offer. The smiles on the faces of the families and their kids were worth it all," said Bob.

To him, the Community Development team has been a constant source of support throughout his time at Cuyahoga DD. Bob shares, "I have met and worked alongside so many wonderful staff who continue to advocate and support those individuals we serve."

After retirement, Bob will continue to focus on his family of six sons and four grandchildren, as well as his health. He also plans to volunteer and travel as much as he can, and enjoy time with his three rescue pets.

Bob wants to share the following:

"Thank you to everyone I have been able to meet along this journey. I am so impressed with how many people put so much of themselves into making sure everyone has a fair chance in life to live, learn, work, and play in the community!"

Thank you, Bob, for your service!
