Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

The IT department keeps us running smoothly. Meet Thomas, an Information Systems Analyst in today's Employee Spotlight. Thomas shares what he enjoys most about working at Cuyahoga DD: knowing his work matters. While he doesn't communicate directly with people served, the workflows and reporting tools he creates help our staff save time and reduce extra steps. "It’s really meaningful to be part of an organization whose mission is about helping people with developmental disabilities live full lives in the community. I’m proud that, in my own way, I get to help make that happen by building solutions that are practical, user-friendly, and reliable," he said. In his free time, Thomas spends quality time with his family—especially cooking together and trying out new recipes to unwind. Thomas stays active playing sports.
