Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

Cuyahoga DD presents the 2026 Advocacy Series. Join Cleveland VOTES and advocates for Voting and Accessibility. 

The event is on Friday, March 20, at the Ellenwood Center in Bedford, from 10 AM to 12 PM. 

Together, we will watch "Accessibility and the Ballot," a documentary film about voting with a disability. Learn why every vote counts.

After the movie, a panel of voters with disabilities and advocates will share information and answer your questions.

This event is designed for adults with developmental disabilities, family members, caregivers, advocates, and providers.

Bring your Ohio ID if you want to register to vote at the event. A light lunch will be provided.

LEAP Cleveland has launched five new Peer Support groups! 

LEAP’s Peer Support groups are a space for people with disabilities to give and receive support. Each group is facilitated by a trained LEAP staff member with experience in the group’s subject matter.

Are you passionate about reading and meeting new people? Do you want to help create an inclusive community environment? If so, apply to become a Library Facilitator. 

We’re seeking individuals with developmental disabilities aged 18 and up in Cuyahoga County to join this meaningful, paid, and contracted position.

Applicants should feel comfortable speaking and sharing ideas with both individuals and groups.
