Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

LEAP Cleveland has launched five new Peer Support groups! LEAP’s Peer Support groups are a space for people with disabilities to give and receive support. Each group is facilitated by a trained LEAP staff member with experience in the group’s subject matter. All meetings will be held on Zoom. Are you passionate about reading and meeting new people? Do you want to help create an inclusive community environment? If so, apply to become a Library Facilitator. We’re seeking individuals with developmental disabilities aged 18 and up in Cuyahoga County to join this meaningful, paid, and contracted position. Applicants should feel comfortable speaking and sharing ideas with both individuals and groups. Apply by March 1 at 5 pm.
