Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

Earlier in the month, Cuyahoga DD connected with the region's college students at College Fest 2026! College Fest, hosted by the Cleveland Talent Alliance at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, brought together college students and local businesses and organizations to explore future career opportunities. Cuyahoga DD spoke to students about roles within the Board and with disability providers. As well as how degrees in nursing, social services, and psychology can be a career path into disability services. Want to learn more about an internship at Cuyahoga DD? Cuyahoga DD wants to see you succeed. Visit us for Finding My Way, for fun Try-It activities where you can try new things and see what you like. Explore your options by trying different activities and making choices! Meet new people while thinking about your future. This event is for people served by Cuyahoga DD ages 14 to 22 and their families. Try-It stations for all ages: • Crafting with Art Therapy Studio • Make a boxed meal with HELP Harvest • Express yourself through music with RockAbility • Career Exploration, Pre-Employment Training, and Job Development Opportunities with Goodwill Support for 14 & 15 year olds: • Cuyahoga DD Support Administration presentation • Meet one-on-one with support administrators Thursday, October 1 • 5 - 7 pm • Big Creek Center Thursday, October 8 • 5 - 7 pm • Green Road Center Please only register for one day at https://ow.ly/VoOU50ZCIn5.
