Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

Miracle, a person served by Santanna's Welcoming Hands Care, submitted a Provider Spotlight for them. Our Annual All-Staff Meeting took place this week. The event brought together staff members to connect and learn how each department supported people with developmental disabilities to live, learn, work, and play. The highlight of the morning was the Staff Awards ceremony. Staff members were nominated by their colleagues. The 2026 Cuyahoga DD Staff Award winners are: Ambassador Award - Stefanie Galbreath, Community Development Specialist Customer Service Award – Traci Conte, Support Administrator Youth & Transition; Katina Kandrin, Administrative Assistant; and Russell Frankino, Behavioral Curriculum Behavior Specialist Great Colleague Award – Andreas Vickman, Data Records Administrator Integrity Award – Jennifer Eisenbrown, Support Administrator Key Contributor Award – Maggie Schade, Medicaid Benefits Coordinator Rookie of the Year Award - Aveion Fields, Forensic Liaison System Impact Award – Chris Carpenter, CD Strategic Analysis Manager Team Player Award – Janalyn Ayers, Waiver Coordinator Congratulations to all the award winners!
