Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

A Cuyahoga DD support administrator submitted a Provider Spotlight...

Last month, Cuyahoga DD visited the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority headquarters for an interactive presentation on travel training.

Representatives from nine transit authorities serving 19 counties gathered to hear from specialists in community access and community development at Cuyahoga DD.

Our staff gave an overview of Cuyahoga DD, emphasized the importance of transportation for people with developmental disabilities, and discussed how to identify the best transportation options based on individual needs.

Good Life Ambassador Jasmine Toney shared insights on disability etiquette and explained concepts such as ableism and inclusion through her personal experiences with public transportation.
