Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

SNAP recipients who also receive Cuyahoga DD services: The federal government shutdown is over. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) can issue November’s full SNAP benefits. They are working on it now. Benefit Timeline: SNAP recipients will receive their full November benefits in November. Last week, ODJFS began issuing partial SNAP benefits (up to 65%). This week, ODJFS will send residents their remaining balance payments. For example, if you received 65% of your November benefit last week, you will get the remining 35% this week. Finding Your Benefits: Please check your SNAP account using the Connect EBT app. You can also use the Ohio Benefits Self Service Portal (OBSSP). Make sure your contact info is correct! Please update your address or phone number at www.Benefits.Ohio.gov. Meet Amy in today's Employee Spotlight. She is an Investigative Agent. Amy enjoys working at Cuyahoga DD because of the wonderful people she has met along the way. She shares, "The people are what make Cuyahoga DD an amazing agency to work for! I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend the past 10 years of my career here." In her free time, Amy and her husband love going to concerts. They have met several artists, including Sebastian Bach, Gordon Lightfoot, and Michael Stanley.
