Who We Help

Our organization supports individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities, which encompass a range of conditions resulting from limitations in physical, cognitive, language, or behavioral areas. These conditions typically emerge during a person’s developmental stage, can affect daily functioning, and often persist throughout their lifetime.

The RePlay for Kids Ride-On program makes ride-on cars, like Power Wheels, easier to use for children with disabilities. Instead of a foot pedal, these cars have a large plate switch on the steering wheel. This change helps children move independently. Independent movement can boost their thinking skills and help them socialize better. Cuyahoga DD is a proud partner. Learn more about RePlay for Kids at replayforkids.org/

In partnership with College Now, the Cuyahoga DD scholarship is open for the Cleveland State University (CSU) Reciprocal Inclusive Student Experience (RISE) Program. Eligible students receive services from Cuyahoga DD and plan to enroll in the Cleveland State University RISE Program for the first time. RISE is a two to four-year transition certificate program that empowers students with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to continue their post-secondary education.
