Email riley.mariana@cuyahogabdd.org with resumes and/or questions. ***Job coaching welcomed / Supportive employer*** Qualifications/Requirements: - Custodial/Janitorial experience (required) - Knowledge Required: maintenance/industrial cleaning equipment and cleaning chemical disposal Basic landscaping and handyman practices - Background Check & Drug Screening - 2nd chance on a case-by-case - Able to lift to 50 lbs. - Use of cell phone to communicate with supervisor Environment/Physical Requirements: - Can be loud at times - Must walk, bend, stand, and push/lift frequently - Travel outside to remove trash and shovel snow Job Duties: - Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, tidying furniture, and dusting surfaces - Sweep and mop floors - Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks, and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap, paper towels) - Maintain outer premises by mowing lawn, cleaning entrances - Perform maintenance and minor repairs (replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc.) - Report major damages and oversee repairs - Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks: shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs etc. - Other duties as assigned
Schedule
Shifts: Monday thru Friday - no weekends; Flexible start between 7:00a-9:00a until 4:00p/5:00p
Pay
Up to $15.00 per hour
