Description
Good Neighbor Ambassadors serve communities affected by our projects. They help build connections in the community through dialogue, resident involvement, and work opportunities such as site cleanup and maintenance, weeding and mowing, and general project assistance. Ambassadors will interact with residents and Sewer District employees throughout their work experience. Our unique program also provides Ambassadors with career-development opportunities to secure full-time, family-sustaining employment: Job readiness assessments Job site tours Academic recruiters Job recruiters Interview preparation Sewer District training This position is essentially a pre-training program for those candidates interested to gain experience with the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District. The 'training program' will last for 1-year. *Candidates must be able to communicate effectively as they will be interacting with residents living in neighborhoods where the Sewer District will be working. Additionally they must be able to perform activities such as light maintenance/cleaning and the ability to lift up to 20lbs.
