Description
This position will perform the tasks necessary to maintain the degree of cleanliness and sanitary conditions within the plant. Potential candidates for this position must possess a moderate level of technical abilities and be capable of completing specialized safety training. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Break down, clean, and sanitize food-processing equipment. - Perform general cleaning of structural components such as walls, floors, HVAC units and ductwork, lights, pipes, windows, and ceilings. - Regularly clean and maintain auxiliary rooms, structures and outside areas of the facility. - Complete necessary paperwork associated with position. - Periodically perform or participate in GMP or Food Safety audits. Effectively communicate results and corrective action as required. - Check equipment for proper functioning. - Perform all other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS - High school diploma or GED required - Must possess good oral and written communication skills as well as basic math skills. - Lifting up to 50 lbs. - Work in high elevations, confined spaces, extreme heat and / or extreme cold. - Able to navigate stairs / ladders - Ability to learn how to operate a variety of sanitation equipment (i.e. floor scrubber, pressure washers, etc.) - Must possess the ability to use a variety of hand tools such as scrapers, air hose, wrench, screwdriver, etc. - Job specific PPE is required. - Must be able to perform independently and as part of a team. RETENTION BONUS INFORMATION Month 1 - $150 Month 2 - $150 Month 3 - $300 Month 4 - $400 Total - $1000

5-6 Days Per Week, 3rd Shift (3p-11p)
Pay
$16 Per Hour - $1000 Retention Bonus Available
