Wired Differently: Autism in Girls
Does your daughter struggle with friends or “fitting in”? Do they work hard to hold it together in public, only to
fall apart at home? Autism in girls often gets missed because their traits can look unlike what most people
expect. Join us for a discussion led by Dr. Elyra Gonzalez, BCBA, of University Hospitals.
Program Includes:
-Learning how autism can look different in girls and why it often gets missed
- Spotting the signs and understanding your child's unique needs
- Discovering how to support her emotionally, socially and in everyday life
- Tips for supporting your child at school and with providers
Good to know:
- This program is for caregivers of children with or without a diagnosis
- Free childcare is available for ages 1-12 years. Registration required
