Volunteer Events

Cuyahoga DD helps people with disabilities access services and feel included in the community. Our staff and volunteers do things like provide extra support at sensory-friendly shows at Playhouse Square and share information and resources at fairs and festivals. 

We organize special events for families and create learning opportunities for adults with disabilities throughout the year. You can volunteer to help make these events successful. Cuyahoga DD provides training and orientation on the day of the event to ensure you have a great experience.

How to become a volunteer

• Be at least 14 years old. 
• Have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn new things! 
• Complete our volunteer application process, including an application, reference check, interview, orientation, and background and criminal record checks.
