If you are worried your baby or toddler is not reaching developmental milestones, call Bright Beginnings to start the Early Intervention (EI) process. Bright Beginnings will help coordinate services, and Cuyahoga DD is the primary provider of early intervention services.

To begin, call Bright Beginnings at 216-698-7500. They will contact you to start the process and help coordinate services.

If you qualify, Cuyahoga DD services will be offered in person at your home or other places where your child feels comfortable.

If you are a professional making a referral for a child under age three, please use the Help Me Grow statewide referral portal available here

Once you qualify for services, an Early Intervention team with staff from Cuyahoga DD may provide support based on your needs, including:

  • Physical therapy to help your child move better
  • Occupational therapy to improve daily activities
