Cuyahoga DD wants all people of working age to find jobs in the community. We offer support to help you explore different job options, find a job, and succeed.

A Cuyahoga DD Support Administrator (SA) can help you:

  • Find the type of job you might like.
  • Connect with local agencies or job services to help you find work, including your school or Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities.
  • Learn how to travel to and from your job.
  • Organize support to help you succeed at your job.

Everyone has strengths and talents that can be used in the workplace. Please watch the video below

Employment First

Ohio’s Employment First initiative states that people with developmental disabilities can work in the community. Community employment is preferred for adults of working age with developmental disabilities.

Employment First improves lives by providing more job opportunities for everyone. Individuals can use their skills and talents to earn money, feel a sense of achievement, and build their social identity.
