To see if you are eligible for Cuyahoga DD, you need to complete an online application. Anyone can fill out an application at any time. This includes parents, family members, doctors, school staff, friends, or a person who may have a developmental disability. 

Your income does not affect your eligibility, and applying will not change your other public benefits like Medicaid or Social Security. To learn more about your benefits and Cuyahoga DD, click here.

Cuyahoga DD supports people of all ages with developmental disabilities. We create services that fit each person's needs and goals through a method called person-centered planning. We support people with disabilities at home, school, work, or other community places, helping them live a meaningful life.

Cuyahoga DD partners with Bright Beginnings to provide Early Intervention services. Bright Beginnings will contact you to do an assessment to determine the need for Early Intervention services.

*The COEDI and OEDI are a tools used by Board of DD professionals to assess and describe the abilities of a child or adult in life activities, such as language, self-care, mobility, and learning.
